-Sight Seeing-

The sound of living in South Florida gives people the idea that the only aesthetic is the beach. But surprisingly enough there are so many more places for photoshoots. In today’s post, I’m going to mention three of my personal favorite spots!

Vizcaya

I went on a day trip to Vizcaya and I got lost in every element. This site alone has so many different aesthetics that will fulfill any content creator’s Instagram feed.

Vizcaya is a beautiful house that rests in Miami- Dade county. The land was originally purchased by a man named James Deering and he built the house as a winter home that overlooked a breathtaking body of water called the Biscayne Bay. Mr. Deering wanted to fantasize a myth that the estate was named after an explorer and he even collected artifacts from across the Pacific Ocean to give it that feel. For the most part, people think the Biscayne Bay was named after the Bay of Biscay and the Spanish province which is known as “Biskaia.” But Deering knew that some people thought it was really named after Vizcaino, the Spanish merchant who explored America in the 1600s. He loved the idea of naming his estate after him since it added to the fantasy of the title he wanted, so he altered the name and officially called the estate Vizcaya because he thought the name was “pretty in itself.”

There is an enormous garden and so many beautiful rooms and places to take pictures. It’s no wonder they call it “the finest private house ever built in America.”

Tree Tops Park

Tree Tops Park is just over 243 acres of land that also includes a 102-acre archaeological site with nature trails. Part of this park is 29 feet above sea level, which the highest land in Broward county! This is the perfect spot for a hike, a horseback ride, and to bring out the greenery in your feed!

Wynwood Walls

The Wynwood walls were originally an artistic statement made by the late Tony Goldman in 2009. He wanted to transform the warehouse district in Wynwood by using their windowless walls as a blank canvas. Incredible artists use them as a creative outlet for “the greatest street art ever seen in one location.” There are garage doors painted with outstanding creativity and the art on the Wynwood walls change every so often! Make sure to keep an eye out for the Atomik Orange on your visit. You can spot him literally all over Wynwood!

This site is definitely for more artistic and abstract content but it can add spunk and style to any feed.

Although Florida has a beautiful summer theme with its beaches, it also has so many other places that are fun for photoshoots! Next time you’re scouting for a new place to take pictures, keep these three locations in mind, you might just fall in love. – A
