-Life Update: Summer 2020-

Hello…

Nah I’m just kidding, how are you??? It’s been, what feels like, years since I’ve written! A lot of things have been happening since the last depressing post I published. Yes, the month of July kinda sucked for the most part, but some really great things have happened and you must be updated!

Since the last post, I’ve announced the upcoming launch of my brand! Let’s talk about that for a quick second. Although I posted a video about this, I think I should talk about it here too. As stated in my video, I had been keeping it a secret for a while because it was just an idea until I really began investing in it. I always loved retail and organizing inventory, and cash register and all of that jazz, but I never actually got a job in it. My first job was an unexpected opportunity that involves a different kind of customer service. I never really thought about possibly opening my own brand, but after seeing so many young creators doing it I was inspired. I prayed for a few nights to God asking Him to show me that this is what He wants me to do and one morning as I scrolled through social media I came across a young business owner that explained everything I would ever need to know to start my shop. After I binge-watched all of her videos and gained all the knowledge I needed, I spoke to my mom about everything I learned and we began purchasing. Thus begins the journey of Raven Apparel! Keep an eye out because the launch is coming very soon and you don’t want to miss out!

What else happened?

OH YEAH! I graduated!! Yes, I actually had a ceremony and walked a stage and turned my tassel, and tossed my hat! Although I was devastated that not everyone I wanted to go was able to attend, it was such a fun experience and I am grateful for everyone’s efforts in making it as special as possible and making it feel like everyone was there even if they weren’t there physically.

I also turned 18! But that one didn’t feel as big as the other two. hehe.

OH and this week was my first week of college! It went way better than expected and I have a little hope for the rest of this year!

This whole virus thing is getting reaaally played out… I’m honestly just excited and looking forward to the Christmas season so we can have some cozy happiness again. Well, that’s just about it for the update! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for my brand and college!! Wish me luck ;-; – A
